Mr. Jake Joseph Mazola, 36, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He is the son of Steven Matney and the late Janet Bellerose. He is preceded in death by one brother Wayne Mazola. Jake had made Lake City his home for the past fifteen years after moving from Lynn, Massachusetts, he was employed with T-Mobile cellular corporation. Jake enjoyed grilling, and spending time with his family and was an Avid New England Patriots Fan and a Boston Red Sox fan.

Jake is survived by his wife of eighteen years Cassidy Garner, two sons Jake Mazola, Jr and Dominic Mazola one daughter Victoria Mazola all of Lake City, FL his father Steven Matney, Lynn, Massachusetts, and one brother Brian Mazola, Tennessee.

A memorial service for Jake will be conducted on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. At Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service.
