Mr. Jack L. Graves, 67, resident of Lake City, Fl died at Suwannee Valley Care Center Thursday April 3, 2014 after an extended illness.



He was a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado and son of the late Joaquin and Erma Beaman Graves and had made his home in Columbia County since 1990. Prior to Lake City he had made his home in Alaska and Colorado. He attended Christ Central Ministries and was a retired professional truck driver and was devoted to his family.



He is survived by his wife, Cynthia S. Graves of Lake City, one son Jeff (Jess) Graves, Colorado Springs, Colorado, one daughter, Jennifer (Mark) Smith, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Grandchildren, Travis Smith, Alyssa Smith, Ashlyn Graves, Adddison Graves also survive. One Step-son, Jeff Kosten, One Stepdaughter, Sari Holcombe, Step son-in-law , Kelly Holcombe and a host of friends also survive.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Monday, April 7, 2014 at Hopeful Baptist Church, South of Lake City with Pastor Lonnie Johns of Christ Central Ministries officiating. Interment will follow in Hopeful Cemetery.
