Obituary

Our dear Mama, Mamie Irene Bedenbaugh, passed away on March 28, 2012. She was born in Iva, South Carolina on May 5, 1916 to Baxter and Mamie Rowzee Watt. She was married to the late Robert Frank Bedenbaugh Sr. for 56 years. She was a faithful member of Bethel United Methodist Church and as a volunteer at Shands Lake Shore auxiliary she was awarded a 1000-hour pin. She enjoyed traveling, reading and playing Bridge and Uno. She was a devoted mother and took joy in her family and friends. Mama will always be remembered for her radiant smile and love for people.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Julian Watt Bedenbaugh and Robert Frank Bedenbaugh Jr.; brothers, Carl Watt, Swayne Watt, Eugene Watt, Cliff Watt & Julian Watt and her sister, Ruth Watt.
Survivors include her daughters, Jane North of Lake City, FL, Susan (Ron) Elinoff of Jacksonville, FL, & Ann (Coco) Thrasher of Lake City, FL; daughter in law, Debbie Bedenbaugh (Paul Gill) of Lake City, FL; grandchildren, Drake (Jamie) North, Daniel (Christine) North, Jordan Thrasher, Austin Thrasher, Jennifer Bedenbaugh, Ashley (Stephen) Coody, and Jared Bedenbaugh all of Lake City, FL, Michelle (Chris) Maingot of Tampa, FL, Craig Elinoff & Jill Elinoff of Jacksonville, FL and Anna Elinoff of New York, NY; great grandchildren, Karston North, Braiden North, Isabella North, Amelia Maingot, Jonathan Maingot, Miranda Maingot, Kaydence Schneiders, Riley Coody and Annistyn Smith; beloved in laws, Edwin Bedenbaugh, Raymond Colley, Lena Burnsed, Roy and Esta Mae Bedenbaugh all of Lake City, FL, jerry and Toby Bedenbaugh of Palatka, FL and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staff of Willowbrook Assisted Living and The Health Care Center of Lake City. Memorial donations may be made to Robert Cares Fund, set up in memory of her son Robert in 2005.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M, today, Friday, March 30, 2012 at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in
Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
