Helen Jeanette Moody, 77 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021.  She was born in Palatka, Florida to the late Woodrow Wilson Hollingsworth and Willa Mae Dobbs Hollingsworth.  Mrs. Moody had been a longtime resident of Starke before making her home in Lake City in 2017.  She was of the Methodist faith and attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Hollingsworth was preceded in death by two children, Tonda Collingsworth and James A. "Buddy" Moody, Jr.; and two brothers, Warren Hollingsworth and Woody Hollingsworth.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda J. Ferrell, Ocala; her brother, Robert Hollingsworth (Debora), Lebanon, OH; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Hollingsworth, Lake City and Joann Hollingsworth, Ft. White; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church of Lake City.
