Mrs. Hazel Woolbert, 85, of Lake City died Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs. She was born in East Stroudsburg, PA to the late Calvin George and Ruth Walters Bush and had lived in Texas for many years before moving to Florida in 1985. Mrs. Woolbert enjoyed her volunteer work and the Gift Shop at Lake Shore Hospital for many years and then at the Lake City Medical Center as a "Pink Lady". She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, enjoyed gardening, and cooking especially for Church functions. Mrs. Woolbert was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lake City where she served as the Treasurer for the Ruth Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Woolbert is survived by her husband of 65 years, Stanley Woolbert of Lake City; daughters, Deb Gienau (Kip) of Uncasville, CT, and Cyndy Ferguson (Bill Trail) of Quincy, FL; granddaughter Afton Graves (Sam) of Tallahassee; Great-Grandson, Beau Graves of Tallahassee.
Funeral services for Mrs. Woolbert will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Lake City with Reverend Jeff Tate officiating. Interment will be held at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg, PA. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 Tuesday evening at the funeral home
