Mr. Harvey Dee Davis, 72 of Fort White, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Walter Joseph Davis and Anna Barr Burner. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He had made his home in Fort White with his wife since 2000 and had previously lived in St. Petersburg. Mr. Davis worked for Lowes Home Improvement in Lake City for the past 15 years. He enjoyed tinkering with old lawn mowers and square dancing with the "Dixie Dancers" in Lake City.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Donna Lentz Davis, Fort White; two sons, Harvey "Buddy" Davis Jr. (Judy), Pinellas Park, FL and Timothy James Davis, Tampa, FL; one daughter, Jill YaVonne Fundora (Hector), Seminole, FL; his siblings, Ivan Burner (Elizabeth), Englewood, FL, David Burner (Debra), Mooresville, IN, Walter Gus Davis (Patricia), Summerfield, FL, Betty White, Indianapolis, IN, Cathy Baugh, Port St. Lucie, FL, Donna Blanford, Allan, TX and Bonnie Stogsdale, Indianapolis, IN; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive.
