Mr. Harry Edward Ferreira, 88, of Lake City passed away peacefully on December 6, 2017 at Haven Hospice. A native of Kansas City, MO, he had lived in Lake City for the past 40 years. Mr. Ferreira was a veteran of the United States Navy.  He enjoyed building bird houses, woodworking, gardening, and church activities at Lake City Apostolic Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Guy Royal in 2016.

Mr. Ferreira is survived by his wife of 40 years, Edith Ferreira of Lake City; sons, David Royal (Sharon), Albert Royal (Twanda) all of Lake City, and Frank Royal (Jane) of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Ruth Summerall (Homer) of Lake City. 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services for Mr. Ferreira will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 8, 2017 at Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor L.R. Leguire officiating.
