Mrs. Gwendolyn B. Dekle, 91, of Lake City passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 following a brief illness. A native of Providence, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mabel Criswell Bielling, and lived most of her life in the Lake City area. Gwen retired from Bellsouth after 35 years of service and enjoyed crafts, sewing, working in her yard and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. "Billy" Dekle in 2008.

Mrs. Dekle is survived by her son, Terry Dekle (Teresa); daughter, Sandy Cabalit (Cris); grandchildren, Chris Dekle, Shannon Hardin (Jeff), Blake Dekle, Brianna Cabalit; great-grandchildren, Konner Dekle, Ashley Bannister, Tye Bannister, Lauren Bannister, Mackenzie Dekle, and Sydney Dekle; great-great grandchildren, Madison, Jaidyn, and Chloe Bannister.
