Gregory Frank Brannan, 69 of Archer, Florida, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville.  Mr. Brannan was the second oldest of seven children to the late Frank Brannan and Marion Batson Brannan.  He was raised in Suwannee County and was a graduate of Branford High School.  Mr. Brannan was a Christian by faith and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He was a hunting guide and dog breeder for many years with his longtime companion, Kate Boulos, working with many plantations in Florida, Georgia and Alabama.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Kate Boulos, Archer, FL; his children, Lorie Washington, Gastonia, NC, Matt Brannan (Michelle), Levy County, Mark Brannan (Dawn), Gilchrist County and Kimberly Gonzalez (Mike), High Springs; his siblings, Diane Parshall (Jim), Deatsville, AL, Donnie Brannan, West Florida, Terry Magnus (Andy), Marianna, FL, Chuck Brannan, Central Florida, Susan Nichols (Gary), South Florida and Sam Freeman (Judy), Millbrook, AL; fifteen grandchildren, Lauren, Zach, Ashton, Summer, Kevin, Kyle, Fantasia, Mark Jr., Karley, Conner, John Charles, Bella, Brett, Tristan and Tara; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Brannan will be conducted on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church in Suwannee County with Pastor Danny Humphries of Union Baptist Church officiating.  Interment will follow at the church cemetery.  A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Church at Sand Hill, 11011 NE 112th Ct., Archer, FL 32618, in memory of Mr. Brannan.
