Samuel Grady Moseley, better known as "Sam", left this earth to be in Heaven on January 8, 2015 at the family home following a long battle with cancer. He was 64 years of age and was a current resident of Ft. White, FL.
He was born February 9, 1950 in Lake City, FL to Robert Lee Moseley and Myrtis Louise Moseley. Following high school he attended college in Lake City, FL. He went on to work for the GE Energizer Plant where he later retired. He also farmed while he worked for GE and following his retirement. He later went to work for his brother at Harry's Heating and Air in Lake City, FL. He enjoyed spending time with his family, always lending a helping hand. His favorite past time was going to auctions.
He is survived by his son, Troy Moseley (Katrina) of Ft. White, FL, and Samantha Moseley (Justin Douglass) of Ft. White, FL and one grandchild, Dallas Douglass of Ft. White, FL; four brothers, Lamar Moseley (Connie) of Ft. White, FL, Wayne Moseley (Inge) of Lake City, FL; George Moseley (Carolyn) of Lake City, FL and Harry Moseley of Lake City, FL; three sisters, Barbara Ann Richards (George) of Lake City, FL, Carolyn Crosby (Jerry) of Ft. White, FL and Jennie Johnson (Marvin) of Lake Butler, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his father, Robert Lee Moseley, mother, Myrtis "Louise" Moseley, and one brother, David Moseley;
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Tustenuggee Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Peeler officiating. Interment will follow in Tustenuggee Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family and friends will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral.
