Grace Arlene Stafford

Ms. Grace Arlene Greenhaw Stafford, 93, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the Solaris Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Willie Oliver and Ruth Greenhaw. She is preceded in death by her sons Bill Stafford and his wife Gloria, Ricky Stafford, Sr., and Charles Stafford, great-grandson Cody Creech, and her sisters Margaret Crosby and RuthMae Williams. She was a lifetime member of Parkview Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and studying her bible, crocheting, sewing, and cooking, spending time with her family, and enjoyed mailing birthday and holiday cards.

She is survived by her daughters Darlene Lane (Bernie), Megis, GA; Debbie Collins (Larry), Lake City, FL; and MaryAnn Shephard (Melvin), Hatch Bend, FL; her brother and two sisters, Bill Greenhaw, Frances Morgan, and Nina Raley. Her grandchildren, Shawn Creech (Danielle), Rodney Creech, Bridget Adams (Sean), Jared Lane (Stephanie), Joshua Collins (Katie), Ricky Stafford, Tammy Lynn Stafford, Mandy Hermesman, Natalie Stafford, Katie Bozek (Chris), Pete Bishop, Patrick McCubbins, and Brian McCubbins. Twenty-five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service honoring the life of Ms. Grace Arlene Greenhaw Stafford will be held at Gateway Baptist Church on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Visitation with the family will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 S US Hwy 441, Lake City, FL 32025.
