Mrs. Grace W. Gaylard, 82, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Grace was born in Suwannee, Florida, the daughter of the late Louis and Molly [Brown] Walker and had lived in Wellborn her whole life. She was a loving mother, grandmother great & great great grandmother who loved being outdoors fishing. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her devoted husband, Emmett Gaylard (1990).

Survivors include her sons, Emmett Gaylard Jr and Leroy Joe Gaylard; daughters, Diane Gaylard, Betty Romine, and Mary Roberts; brother, Clarence Walker; sisters, Eatha Smith & Hazel Stansel; 17 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday evening, August 29, 2016, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in the chapel of GATEWAY-FORTEST LAWN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Charles Knight and Pastor Max Bass officiating. Interment will follow in Wellborn Cemetery.
