It is with great sadness that the family of, Gloria Jean Martinez, announces her sudden passing on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.  Gloria was born on June 27, 1945 in Cairo, Illinois to the late Harry Holmes and Ella Mae Jackson Holmes.  She dedicated her life to the Lord and was a righteous Christian woman.  Her life was a beacon of light to all who knew her.   Gloria was preceded in death by her first husband, William Teems, one son, Richard Teems and one grandson, Brandon Teems.

Gloria will forever and lovingly be remembered by her husband, Angel Martinez; her children and their families, son, William and Misty Teems, grandchildren, Malinda, Cameron and Caleb; son, David and Karen Teems, grandchildren, Ashley, April, Joshua, Stanley and Jordyn; daughter, Melissa and Reaves Cole, grandchildren, Ashley, Abigail, Hannah, River and Phoenix; son, Manuel Martinez, grandchildren, Manuel and Dustie; daughter,  Margarita Martinez, grandchildren, Angel, Christopher, Tatiana, Juan, Jose Luis and Paola; daughter, Angela Martinez, grandchildren, Carlos and Jacob; and grandson Austin, by her late son Richard; and 19 great-grandchildren.  Gloria will also be fondly remembered by her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.

A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the First Full Gospel Church, 288 NE Jones Way,  Lake City, FL 32055,  with Pastor Stan Ellis officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 1-3:00 PM, two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday
