Gloria Nell Bryant, 75, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the University of Shand's Hospital in Gainesville FL, following an extended illness. She is the daughter of the late John D. and Mattie Lee Luke. She is preceded in death by two daughters little Avie Mae Bryant and Penny Ann Bryant one brother Wilbur D. Luke and a sister Jennie Kay Luke. Ms. Gloria retired after eighteen years of working with the Kirby Oil Company and was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, fishing, her chickens and her dogs Peanut and Reece, and playing computer games    Ms. Gloria is survived by one son Bruce Bryant, Jr. (Sandra) Ft. White, FL; one daughter Darlene Morgan, Lake City, FL; two brothers Jimmy and Eugene Luke both of Lake City, FL; one sister Vivian Todd, Lake City, FL. her grandchildren are Adam "AJ", Brad (Cindy) and Nichole, Caleb, with six great-grandchildren Ian and Ella, Macy, Braidyn and Kailyn, and Caitlyn and a host of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Ms. Gloria Bryant will be conducted on January 21, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Speaker Fletcher Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service.
