Obituary

Mr. Glenn Alton Overstreet, 61 of Valdosta, GA and formerly a long time resident of Lake City, passed away unexpectantly on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. Glenn was currently working as the Sales Manager at Hunter Printing in Lake City. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, nature and spending time with his family. Glenn was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Overstreet and one brother, James Cox.

Survivors include his beloved companion, Autumn Miller, Valdosta, GA; his father, Vernon Overstreet (Ann), High Springs, FL; one son, Scott Overstreet (Tramesa), Shelter Island, NY; one daughter, Jolene Tibbetts (Jonathan), Whitesboro, NY; three sisters, Lucille Smith, Stanford, KY, Louise Manning, Lincoln County, KY and Frances Cox, Louisville, KY; six grandchildren, Olivia and Nathaniel Overstreet, and Alex, Ava, Adeline and Adler Tibbetts; and numerous extended family and friends also survive.

Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Maxie Williams, associate pastor of Southland Church in Valdosta, GA, officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made online to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, Lake City.
