IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gerald David
Talbott
September 9, 1951 – August 17, 2021
Gerald David Talbott, 69, of Lake City, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 after a sudden illness. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 9, 1951 to the late David Gerald Talbott and Marie Edelman Talbott. He was a US Navy veteran and was an electrician by trade. He was a very strong and loving father. He loved fishing; bowling and he would never pass up a black coffee expresso from Starbucks. He would wait two hours in the school line to make sure he was first to pick up his granddaughters. He made the best "kick ass chili" in town. He always said a "good cook doesn't need to measure anything".
He always loved watching TV with his grandchildren. Some of his favorites were Supernatural and Rachel Ray. He and his granddaughter Lexi have always had a saying between them. They would say ""Black hole" to describe the biggest amount of love that you could possibly love someone; he always went to his granddaughter Lyssi's Birthday parties that were at the bowling alley and he always had his bowling stance.
He will be missed dearly by his sister, Alyne Babski; brother, William Talbott; daughter, Heather Talbott; step-daughter, Jodi Roberts; his grandchildren, Jared and Savanna Gaines, Lexi, Lyssi and Lani Roberts; his great-grandchild, Noah Roberts and his wife of 30 years, Teresa Talbott.
