Georgia May Craigo, 88 of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at her home.  She was born in Sybial, West Virginia to the late William and Rosa Sykes Bevel.  She had made her home in Lake City for the past 49 years and was a Christian by faith.  Mrs. Craigo was a business owner, loving mother and a doting grandmother.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Phillip S. Craigo; two sons, Phillip R. Craigo and Robert J. Craigo; one daughter, Brenda K. Craigo; five brothers, Jim Bevel, Johnny Bevel, Noah Bevel, Bruce Bevel and Paul Bevel; and four sisters, Bea Bevel, Margaret Bevel, Lillian Bevel and Ruth Bevel.

Survivors include her children, Bertha M. Minter, Lake City, Richard P. Craigo (Janet), Lake City and Gary L. Craigo, Lake City; 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren also survive.

A graveside celebration of life service for Mrs. Craigo will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 4:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
