George F. "Jeff" Le Clerc, 75, passed away Friday; May 9, 2014 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice). He was born in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Frederick H. and Lillian E. "Langley" LeClerc and had lived here in Columbia County for the past 32 years. He was a kind and loving husband, father, grand & great grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 30 years, Josephine A. LeClerc; sons, Jeffery LeClerc and Thomas J. "TJ" Sims; daughters, Gina Barrington, Sherry Snipes and Wendy Marker; 8 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday; May 15, 2014 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor James Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
