Mr. George Allen Jackson, Jr. 79, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness. He is the son of the late George Allen Jackson, Sr., and Eloise Young. George had made Lake City his home for the past nine and half years after moving here from California, he was a member of the Seven Day Adventist Church and enjoyed collecting model trains, old cameras, and loved Chevrolet cars, he liked Blue Tick Hounds, and raised three of them and raised a small apple orchard in Oak Glen, California and had the privilege of building a castle while in California.

Mr. George is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years Carmen Jackson, Lake City, FL; his mother Eloise Jackson, Jacksonville, FL; one brother Daniel Jackson, Jacksonville, FL; his cousin Pat Lynch (Joann) Branford, FL.
