George Henry Hudson, Sr., 99, was born at home in Clover, Virginia, September 9, 1912 to Florence Martin Hudson and Henry Cleveland Hudson and passed from this life to eternal life at home on Sunday, October 30, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Marian Shiver Hudson, of 65 years (October 15); one sister, Ella Wheeler, 101, (Farnham, VA) and one brother, Carson Hudson, 86,(Gloucester, VA); four sister-in-laws, three brother-in-laws; one son, George H. Hudson, Jr. of Lake City, two daughters, Margaret, "Maggie" Greene (Mike) of Ft. White, and Becky Deas (Damon) of Jennings; 12 grandchildren: Richard Lane (Danielle), Kathy Lane Schneberger (Joe), David Greene, Jessica Greene Finch (Kevin), Codi Hudson, Chrysten Hudson, Daniel Deas, Zachary Deas, Michelle Smith Good (Mike), Laurie Smith Albert, Lynn Smith, Larry Smith; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased in death by his parents, 3 sisters A
