George M. Hayes

August 3, 1961 -December 8, 2024

An extraordinary man, a devoted father, and a loving husband.  George, was more than just a parent or a partner - he was a rock, a guiding light, and a source of inspiration to all who knew him. Born with a passion for aviation, he dedicated 25 years of his life to his work as an A&P certified aircraft mechanic. His expertise and dedication earned him the respect of his colleagues and clients alike. But it was his family that brought him the greatest joy.

As the patriarch of the family, he was loved and cherished by all 7 of his kids. He was more than just a father - he was our hero, our mentor, and our friend. Josh, John, Sam, Mike, Chris, Brandt, and Julie all benefited from his guidance, support, and unwavering love. For 23 years, he stood by his loving wife, Naidine's side, building a life filled with laughter, and adventure. Their marriage was a testament to the power of love and commitment. They were each other's rock, supporting each other through life's triumphs and challenges.

His greatest attribute was his kindness. He had a heart of gold, always putting others before himself. He had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. Whether it was fixing an old engine or helping out with household chores,  he approached every task with humility and dedication. As we say goodbye to this remarkable man, we take comfort in the memories we shared with him. We remember his stories of adventure on the airfield, his patience as he taught us new things, and his unwavering support when we needed it most. We're grateful for the lessons he taught us about hard work, perseverance, and the importance of family.

As we move forward without our beloved father and husband by our side, we'll carry his legacy with us. We'll strive to be as kind, compassionate, and dedicated as he was. We'll remember his infectious smile, his warm hugs, and his wise words of encouragement.

Rest in peace. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.

A graveside service for Mr. Hayes will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2 pm. Rev. Ronald Russ will be officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
