Gary S. Olson, 66 of Lake City, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022.  He was born in Miami, Florida on December 23, 1955.  Gary loved nature.  Many times he would go for drives with his family on the backroads of Columbia and Suwannee County to view the scenery and wildlife.  He enjoyed riding his golf cart and riding lawn mower.  Gary also enjoyed bowling and was an avid Columbia Tiger fan.  He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Olson.

Survivors include mother, June Olson, Lake City; his siblings, Beverly Zerwick (John), Green Cove Springs, FL and Dave Olson (Vera), Lake City; his cousins, Catherine Codianne, Kenny Codianne and Richard Davis.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Louis Tremblay, Bethel United Methodist Church, officiating.
