Mr. Garet Christopher Dicks, 24, of Lake City passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 9th, 2024, at his residence. He is the son of Chris and Amanda Johnson Dicks. Garet was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed playing soccer, playing in the band, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed game night and going on vacation, especially to Daytona Beach. He was an avid Florida Gator Fan. He graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in biology before transferring to Loma Linda University in 2022 in California for Dental School.

Garet is survived by his parents, Chris and Amanda Dicks of Lake City, FL, and his three brothers Travis (Laura), Braxton, and Brent Dicks all of Lake City, FL. His maternal grandparents Gary and Ellen Johnson of Lake City, FL, his Paternal grandmother Mary Dicks, Lake City, FL, and his uncle Jeff Johnson (Alison) of Lake Butler, FL, and his three cousins Madison, Kindall, and Perry Johnson.

A funeral service for Mr. Garet Christopher Dicks will be conducted on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. With Pastor Bo Bush officiating.
