Ms. Gale Von Wiley, 84, passed away on April 20, 2023, at the Willow Brook Assisted Living and rehab center. She is preceded in death by her husband James R. Wiley her parents Okey James and Edith Patrick Wright and one son James Robert Wiley and her brother Dale Wright. After moving here from Bradenton, FL, Ms. Gale had made Lake City her home for the past forty-five years. She attended the Falling Creek Chapel Church and was a member of the American Legion, The Lake City Moose Lodge, and enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Gale is survived by her two daughters Cara Lashley (Scott Swindle) Lacrosse, FL; Chris Wiley, Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service for Ms. Gale Von Wiley will be conducted on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Romney Luke officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service with Pastor Romney Luke officiating.
