Gale Owen Gumm, 85 of Branford, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at the Haven Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City, Florida.  He was born in Ridge, Oregon to the late Sidney and Lillian Costello Gumm.  Mr. Gumm had lived in Branford for the past 15 years and had lived in numerous places prior to Branford.  He worked for many years with Goodyear Tire Company as a salesman.  Mr. Gumm enjoyed watching football, baseball, wrestling and going fishing.  He was preceded in death by five children, Vernon, Paul, Kevin, Calvin and Lori.

Survivors include one son, David Gumm (Brooke), Cincinnati, OH; one daughter, Gale Gumm, Vensela, OH; three grandchildren, John, David and Amber Gumm; and his friend and caretaker, Martina Lundy, Branford, FL.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lake City, Florida.
