Gail Marie Boehmer, age 54, of Lake City, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Robbinsdale, Minnesota on September 13, 1968 to the late Charles M. Myers and Marilee Bentzen Myers. She has made Lake City her home since 1988, moving here from the Sioux Falls, South Dakota area. She was a School teacher briefly but was a homemaker all of her life, who in her spare time, enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing piano and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Rose Ann Boehmer of Jacksonville, FL; sons, Andrew Boehmer (Olivia) of Jacksonville, FL and David Boehmer of Long Beach, California; brothers, Curtis Myers (Amy) and William Myers (Jessica) both of Lake City, FL; sister, Sarah Garcia (Izzy) of Lake City, FL. One grandchild, Sage Sapit along with twelve nieces and nephews also survive.

There will be a visitation with friends of the family of Mrs. Boehmer on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A private Interment with her immediate family will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.
