On October 24, 2016 our Heavenly Father requested Tim's presence.  He met his appointment with much peace.  Tim was a native of Jacksonville, Fl  and a graduate of Englewood High School class of 1969. He moved his family to Lake City in 1993. Tim worked in the automotive field as a Machinist specializing in racing engines and especially enjoyed assembling high performance motors in his backyard garage.  Tim was a man of faith with strong Christian values. He loved spending time on the water fishing for bream and speckled perch. He had a passion for all music and loved sitting on the front porch playing his guitar. Time spent with his family was most important to him and his friendships with many were cherished.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jackie Howell, and his brother, Chris Howell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karyl Howell, two sons, Duane Howell, Greg Howell (Sandy), four grandchildren, Kaeleb, Tyson, Alexis, and Trey, all of Lake City, Fl., numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews along with many friends including his beloved dog Lou Lou.

Celebration of Tim's Life will take place on November 5, 2016 at the family's home beginning at noon.
