Fred Elton Hankla, 74, of Live Oak, passed away on Friday evening, February 18, 2022 at the Haven-Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on August 30, 1947 to the late Edward and Eunice Thornton Hankla and was a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty M. Hankla of Live Oak; and his children, Lisa, Elaine, Michelle and Suzanna. Eleven Grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive.

A service to honor the life of Mr. Hankla will be conducted at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
