Mr. Frank Davis Lick, 75, passed away, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at his residence following a brief illness. He was the son of the late Fredrick Lick and Ruby Anderson Cloer and is preceded in death by one brother James Lick.  Mr. Frank had made Lake City his home for the past forty-two years after moving here from Jacksonville, FL. He was of the Episcopalian faith. He served his country in the United States Marines Corp during the Vietnam War and has had a charter boat captain license and is a commercial Saltwater fisherman. He loved to fish and enjoyed teaching people to fish, and he also enjoyed working, and fixing and selling boats. He was an avid Florida Gator Fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Mr. Frank is survived by his wife of fifty-years Shirley Lick, Lake City, FL; two sons Josh Lick (Morgan), and Austin Lick (Jessica) both of Lake City, FL; one brother Joey Williams (Debbie) Suwannee, FL; five grandchildren Asher Lick, Harper Lick, Jaxxon Lick, Jayden and Jayson Little. A sister-in-law Brenda Gates (Jim) Jacksonville, FL; a nephew Wesley Williams (Lea) Fairhope, AL, and niece Cassie Williams, St. Pete, FL. Dianne Williams close family friend Lake City, FL; niece Meleah Jolly (Page) Jacksonville, FL niece Mellisa Cowart (John) Palatka, FL nephew Kyle Keene (Vicky) High Springs, FL niece Kelly Keene (Cameron) Lake City, FL niece Kala Keene Alachua, FL.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
