Mrs. Faye Jones Darst, 77, of Lake City passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021.  A native of Bankston, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Sybil Parker Jones. Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and was an amazing and giving person whom was loved by everyone who knew her. She was the transportation secretary for the Columbia County School Board and retired after 25 years of service. In her spare time she loved reading.

Faye is survived by her husband of 41 years Emerson; children, Steve, Scott, Lee, and Deanne; grandchildren, Cassie, Samantha, Christopher, Kalie, and Dylan; great grandchildren, Trey, Ashton, Alexander, and Lilith Faye.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with David Beatty officiating.
