Evelyn Louise Koon, 74, of Lake City, Fl., passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice).

Born in Dixie County, Fl., to the late John Vernon Lockler, Sr. and Allie Stewart Lockler. She enjoyed simple pleasures, good food, laughter with friends and family. Beautiful sunset over Horseshoe Beach and productive fishing trips. Her well cared for yard ,flowers and her lovely home.  Mrs. Koon loved sharing all of the pleasures she had with the people that she loved. She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Koon, one brother; John Vernon Lockler Jr., and two sisters; Eloise Sheppard and Pearl Osteen.

Survivors include her daughter; Lisa Stiles, brother; Marvin Glen Lockler; sister, Jonell Douglas (C.F.),two granddaughters; Ashley Girvin and Allison Stiles, numerous nieces , nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Koon will be conducted at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Burlington Santa Fe Church with Pastor Ken Campbell officiating.
