Evelyn Jessup, 94, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice). She was born in Lafayette County to the late Berry and Florence (Brown) Land but had lived in Columbia County for most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother who enjoyed fishing and was devoted to her family and loved her church and Sunday School class. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Jessup.
Survivors include her son, Jerry L. Jessup (Rauha) of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Brook Jessup of Tallahassee, FL & Amber Jessup (Jason) of Vienna, VA; great grandchildren, Madison & Connor Dietrich both of Vienna, VA also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Wellborn Baptist Church with Dr. Donald Minshew and Rev. Tommy Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Wellborn, Florida.
