Mrs.Eunice Matilda Davenport, 92, of Lake City passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the HCA Florida Lake City Hospital. She was born on August 29, 1929 to the late Styles and Carrie Thomas of Lake City where she spent her life of 92 years. She was a member of First Full Gospel Church where she enjoyed worshiping with her family and friends. Mrs. Davenport loved her family and her church and enjoyed crocheting gifts for others. God carried her home to spend eternity with Him and will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her husband William Davenport; seven siblings, Ernest, Woodrow, Parker, Elizabeth, Ermon, Dell, and Lucretia; son, Morris Vann Albritt; granddaughter, Lisa Davis.

Mrs. Davenport is survived by her daughter Ketrina Hester (Harvey); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Davenport will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stan Ellis officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in White Springs. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Thursday (1 hour before services) at the funeral home.
