Eric Robert Gabel, 32, of Lake City, passed away suddenly on March 23, 2022. He was born in Delray Beach, Florida and has lived the last 30 years in the Lake City area. He was involved with the Cub scouts, played soccer, baseball and was US Army Military Veteran where he received the National Defense Service Medal. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Keenan

He is survived by his parents, Ron Gabel and George Worthy; son, Eric "Peanut" Minasall; brother, Ron "Ronnie" Keenan; sister, Jessica Belltrain; uncle, Sean (Lynda) Keenan; aunt, Linda Worthy and uncle, Duane Voelker. He is also survived by his cousins, Sean Keenan, Jr., Dillon Keenan, Skyler Keenan, Katrina Keenan, Catie Keenan and her three daughters, Troy and Michelle Voelker and their daughter, Haylee, Adam Worthy, Kyle Worthy, Corey & Blanca Philips, Stephanie & Kyle Jones and their three sons and daughter.

A memorial service for Mr. Gabel will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel.
