Ms. Emma Loyd Robinson, 90, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2025, at Solaris Health Care in Lake City, surrounded by her family, following an extended illness. She is the daughter of the late John Henry and Inez Annie Weeks Loyd and was preceded in death by her husband in 2015 of sixty-five years Edward Robinson. She was a lifelong resident of Columbia County and of the Baptist faith and a member of the Cross Church. She ran the Watermelon Park Grocery Store at one time, drove a school bus for thirty-three years for Columbia County School System, worked at Winn-Dixie for thirteen years, and at Green Acres Day Care for thirteen years, and owned and operated and helped on the family farm

Ms. Emma is survived by her children, Dale Robinson (Donna), Danette O'Neal (Chum), and Teresa Horne (Skibo), all of Lake City, FL. Her nine grandchildren Sheri Lynn O'Neal, Gregory O'Neal (Brandi), Karen O'Neal Griffis Sessions (Doug), Matt Robinson (Jane), Christopher Robinson, Corey Robinson, Cody Horne (Hanani), Cassandra Blankenship (Parker), and Zach Horne (Kayla). Her fourteen great-grandchildren, Braxten, Brennen (Kyra), and Bristol Robinson, Kailie, Cassidy, and John Luke O'Neal, Gage, Adaline, and Kash Griffis, Addysin Gherna, Kade Blankenship, Harlee Blankenship, and Liliana Del Castillo, and Aaliyah, Bella, Cameron, and Dante Horne, also survive. Ms. Emma's family would like to give special thanks to her special caregiver, Helen Wyatt, and her family at Solaris Health Care.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Reverend Randy Ogburn officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.  Family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service at Lake City Church of God, and that if you want to bring food, it can be dropped off at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home or Lake City Church of God the day of the service.  Arrangements are under the direction of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 S US Hwy 441, Lake City, FL 32025.  Please leave words of comfort for the family at
