Emma Jean Callahan, 77, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born in Wellborn, Florida on October 29, 1940 to the late George Walker, Jr. and Annie Crews Walker. She was a homemaker all of her adult life and loved to spend time with her church family and reading books. She was a life-long resident of the Lake City area and was a member of the Watertown Congregational Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jessie Callahan.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and her loving church family.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Callahan will be conducted on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Ogburn, Pastor of Watertown Congregational Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow the services.
