Edward Van Paul Catledge, Jr., 53 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at the Avalon Heathcare Center in Lake City.  He was born and was a lifelong resident of Lake City.  Paul had worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was currently working for Lowes Home Improvement in Live Oak.  His plans were to start nursing school this fall.  Paul was of the Pentecostal faith and was passionate about roller skating, scuba diving and swimming in the ocean.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Faye Caldwell.

Survivors include his father, Edward Catledge, Sr. (Jo Anne), Fernandina Beach, FL; his daughter, Haley Catledge, Lake City; two brothers, Russell Catledge and Daniel Catledge both of Lake City; one sister, Tina Stegall, Lake City; and numerous extended family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
