Mr. Edward Carl Mason, Jr., 69, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, following an extended illness. He is the son of the late Edward Carl Mason, Sr. and Alta Farrow. He is preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Davis. He had made Lake City his home for the past three and half years after moving here from Labelle, FL. He was a member of Christ Central Church in Live Oak, FL, and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and hunting.

Mr. Edward Carl Mason, Jr. is survived by his wife Rebecca Mason, Lake City, FL; two brothers Reid Mason (Debbie) Pennscola, FL; Tim Mason (Shelley) Ohio, two sisters Dawn Anthony (Dale) Port Charlotte, FL; and Cynthia Webster, North Carolina.  And a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service honoring his life will be held April 26, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Central Live Oak 15445 US 129, McAlpin, FL 32062.
