Eduardo M. "Ed" Garcia, 82, of Live Oak, passed away peacefully Friday evening, May 31, 2019 at the Haven-Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. He was born in Key West, Florida on November 5, 1936 to the late Antonio and Rosa Garcia. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Andre Garcia, Onelio Garcia, Sergio Garcia and Antonio Garcia.

He is survived by his children, Tricia Garcia (Don McAlister), Sonia Conine (Mike) and Barbara Davis (Jeremy); his amazing gal pal, Judy Huffman; Grandchildren, Paul Umstead, Katelynn McCoy (Tyler McCoy), Tyler Garcia, Dallas Ogburn, Jena Conine, Gavin McAlister and Grace McAlister; great-grandchildren, Mason Garcia, Cadence McCoy, Weston Jones and Jet Umstead. He is also survived by his sister, Sonia Spencer.

Memorial services for Mr. Garcia will be announced at a later date.
