E. William "Booty" Terry, was born on October 23.1952, in Lake City, FL. to the late Irwin D. & Callie Parker Terry. Booty passed away peacefully at home with family at his side on March 6, 2025. Booty graduated from Branford High School in 1973. He had been a farmer his whole life and he enjoyed being on the farm. After graduation, he continued to work on the family farm, I.C. Terry Farms, with his uncles, brother, and cousin. The farm grew many crops, like peanuts, corn, tobacco, soybeans, grass seed, and also baled hay and raised cattle.

Booty was a volunteer firefighter with the Ranchette Volunteer Fire Department and served the community for over 35 years. He helped many people throughout the years with house fires, car accidents, and traffic control in the southern part of Suwannee County.  He was a lifetime member of Siloam Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Peggy Terry; Children, Donna (John) Terry, Callie (James) Patrick, and Kevin Terry. His grandchildren, Courtney (Mason) Patrick Bielinski, Hannah and Tolby Terry, Wyatt Patrick and Mara Royston-Terry. His sisters, Carolyn Cannon, Doris (Charles) Wilson, Patricia (Bill) Peeler, Margaret (John) Hancock and Janice (Bud) Holloway, his brother-in-law Larry Parker (Cindy) and sister-in-law Carol Terry and Many nieces and nephews also survive.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother James I. Terry.

Services for Booty Terry will be conducted on March 13, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Gateway Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. John Terry Sr officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm before the funeral. Interment will follow at Siloam Methodist Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered to the Siloam Methodist Church in Mr. Terry's name, 969 SW Siloam Street, Lake City, FL. 32024.
