Dustin Jacob Connor, 21, of Lake City, passed away on Monday afternoon, August 9, 2021 at the UF Shands Hospital in Gainesville after an extended illness. He was a life-long resident of Lake City, born on October 25, 1999 to Billy and Jenny Connor. He was a 2019 graduate of Columbia High School and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the Florida Gators, watching baseball, car racing, demolition derbies and Mudding. He also enjoyed fishing and scratch off tickets. Dustin was known as a big "Flirt" and he never, ever met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara "Bobbie" and Otis Patrick Massey & William and Florence Connor.

He is survived by his loving parents, Billy and Jenny Connor; his brother and best friend, Will Connor (Kenna Hoose); step-brother, David Weeks; niece and nephew, David Weeks, Jr. and Noelle Weeks; his aunt, Debbie Doyon (Roland). Several great aunts, great uncles, extended family and many, many friends also survive.

A celebration of life service for Dustin will be conducted on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Deep Creek Community Center with Pastor Lewis Daniel and Pastor Octavia Williams officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
