Obituary

Douglas Ray Dagley, 78 of Lake City, passed away at his home on Friday, November 10, 2017.  He was born in Alcoa, Tennessee to the late Conda and Marjorie Riley Dagley.  Mr. Dagley was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He moved to Lake City in 1999 from Melbourne, Florida, where he had been a longtime resident.  Mr. Dagley worked for 50 years with the I.B.E.W. with 9 of those years building Walt Disney World in Orlando.  He was a member of Christ Central, loved serving with his Christ Central family and he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.  A few things that he enjoyed were searching for antiques at the flea market, treasures with his metal detector, doing family genealogy, checking off his honey do list and reminding his family to buy "Made in America"  He was preceded in death by one son, Troy Christopher Dagley; one brother, Conda Dagley; and two sisters, Wanda Cunningham and Bobby Herron.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Leilani Shuck Dagley, Lake City; one daughter, Tammie Rae Johns (Lonnie); one son, Travis Scott Dagley (Kendal), Cocoa Beach, FL; one sister, Peggy Little (Tom), Melbourne, FL; 7 grandchildren, Casey, Angel, Tre', Shaina, Josh, Zach and Heart; 9 great-grandchildren, Bryson, Kaylie, Kaden, Baylie, Lexi, Gunner, Yael, Brantley and Cora.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 3:30PM at Christ Central with Pastors Ray and Lonnie Johns officiating.  Interment with military honors will be on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Florida Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rockledge, Florida.  Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening, November 14, 2017, from 5-7:00 PM at Christ Central in Lake City.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his honor to The Renewed Recovery Outreach Center for the Veterans Dormitory in care of Christ Central at 217 SW Dyal Ave, Lake City, FL 32024.
