Dorothy Marie Chestnut, 57, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice). She was the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtis "Skinner" Davis and a lifelong resident of Suwannee County. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and faithful caregiver to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charles Davis Jr., sisters, Cora Frye and Rhonda Sharp, and her son, Donnie Abbott.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Abbott of Live Oak, FL; sisters, Gloria Royals of Wellborn, FL and Sandra Hill of Jennings, FL; grandchildren, Brad, Chadd & Kaylin Abbott and Brayden Blake all of Lake City, FL.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 1, 2013 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Cary Bryan officiating.
