Doris Elsie Lydecker Pollock, 82, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday morning, July 30, 2022 at the HCA-Lake City Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born in East Patterson, New Jersey on June 29, 1940 to the late Charles and Dorothy Becker Lydecker. She has made Lake City her home since 2009, moving here from the Miami, Florida area. She was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years, retiring in 2002 from Florida International University. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, reading and working on puzzles as well as spending time with her grandson. She is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Timothy Walker.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlyne Walker of Lake City and her grandson, Charles Walker also of Lake City.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Walker will be conducted on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Cagney Tanner officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
