Ms Doris Catledge, 84 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Quitman, GA, one of six children to the late Olin and Maud Waldron Catledge.  Ms Catledge had made her home in Lake City for the past 40 years having moved here from Jacksonville.  She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, word search puzzles and watching "Little House on the Prairie".  Ms Catledge loved spending time with her family and her dogs, Lexie and Rufus.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Melody Boler-Bohonus in 2009.

Survivors include her two daughters, Olene Prevatt, Yulee, FL and Gloria Hause (Tom), Lake City; one brother, Edward Catledge (JoAnne), Fernandina Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Melinda Prevatt, Jacksonville and Ethan Thomas, Lake City; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A private family graveside service will be held at Memorial Cemetery in Lake City, Florida at a later date.
