Mr. Donnie Edward Creamer, Sr., age 70 of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center with his family by his side. Mr. Creamer was born on February 11, 1945 in Baxley, Georgia to the late Calvin C. and Ola Mae Rowland Creamer and was a lifelong resident of Lake City. He was the owner and operator of Creamer's Towing in Lake City for 45 years. Mr. Creamer was a member of the Lake City Moose Lodge, the Lake City Elks Lodge and was of the Baptist Faith. Donnie enjoyed riding in the woods with friends and family and loved to fish. He was preceded in death by one sister, Claudette Creamer and one brother, Jerry Creamer.

Survivors include his two sons, Donnie Creamer, Jr., (Jennifer) and Greg Creamer (Colleen) both of Lake City; two grandsons, Logan G. Creamer and Lucas C. Creamer both of Lake City; his longtime companion and friend, Lillian K. Davis, Lake City; four brothers, Calvin Creamer (Linda), Roger Creamer (Carolyn) and Bo Creamer (Brenda) all of Lake City and Billy Creamer (Lillian), Hazlehurst, GA; two sisters, Vicky Carroll (Pete) and Voncille Creamer both of Lake City; eleven nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Gateway~Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Russ officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
