Donna Maurine Keene

Donna Keene, age 62, of Lake City, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on January 18, 1964, Donna was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, fiancée, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Donna is survived by her devoted fiancé, Jose Cervantez; her beloved son, Daniel Keene; her cherished daughter, Kelley Keene; and her treasured grandson, Jaylin Haynes; Step-daughter Ariana Cervantez.She is also survived by her loving siblings, Michael (Joanie) Kelley, Denise (Enrique) Garcia, Doreen Morgan, and Mark Kelley.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Darrell Keene; her parents, Charles and Faye Kelley; her brother, Mitchell Kelley; and her sister, Debbie Kelley and Melvin Kelley.

Donna found joy in life’s simple moments, especially spending time with her family. She had a special love for NASCAR racing and treasured the memories made attending races with her son and grandson. Her laughter, caring heart, and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Her Services will be held at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
