Donna Williams Gaskins, 56, life-long resident of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the Lake City Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on August 7, 1965 to Doris Tyre and the late James Claude Williams. She was a member of the Lake City Church of God and worked for Dr. DeLeon for over fifteen years as well as with the Lake City Surgery Center, Westgate Resorts and Porch Deck Solutions. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, doing floral arrangements, riding in her jeep and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Brandon Lee Gaskins.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Tony "Bubba" Gaskins; son, Scott Gaskins; daughter, Samantha Gaskins; mother, Doris Clark (David); grandchildren, Paisley Rose, Hunter Randall, Kaydance Marie and Madison Lynn; brothers, James Paul Williams (Nancy) and Gary Claude Williams (Sherrie) all of Lake City. Many extended family members and friends also survive.

A funeral service for Mrs. Gaskins will be conducted on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Lake City Church of God with Pastor Carl Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service at the church.
