Donna A. Fucile, 70, of Lake City, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Haven-Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. She was born in Newport, Rhode Island on December 26, 1950 to the late William and Evelyn Smith. She graduated from Middletown High School, Class of 1979 and she has made the Lake City area her home for the past 23 years, moving here from Rhode Island. She was a Quality Control Inspector with Raytheon Company for 15 years before ill health forced her to retire. She loved to travel in her RV with her husband, golfing, gardening and loved her Jack Russell family dogs (all 10) over the years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, John J. Fucile.

A funeral service for Mrs. Fucile will be conducted on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. prior to the services.
