Donna Sue Fowler, 62, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Shands at Lake Shore Hospital. She was the daughter of Jay and Gladys Bielucki Thornton. A native of Jacksonville, Florida she had lived in Lake City for the past 18 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Thornton and her father, Jay Thornton.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, William Fowler; mother, Gladys Bielucki; children, Donna Gail Cooner, Babo Wilkes, Henry Wilkes, Pug Powell and Sue Powell; stepson, David Fowler; brother, Alan Thornton, sisters, Jenny Cowart, Faye Jeffers, Wanda Davis, and Gloria Crews; numerous grandchildren also survive.
